Terms of use

Using this site means accepting what follows. It is short because the site is small and because we hold nothing of yours.

What you may do with it

Join whatever you like, as often as you like, for anything you like — personal work, paid work, work you sell afterwards. There is no licence to buy, no attribution asked for, and no limit on how many pictures you put through it. The pictures you open and the file you save remain entirely yours; we acquire no rights over either, because we never receive either.

What you may not do

Do not use the site to work on pictures you have no right to use, and do not use it to make anything unlawful. Do not attempt to interfere with the site itself — probing it for weaknesses, hammering it automatically, or trying to make it unavailable to other people. Reading the source it sends your browser is not interference; it is how the web works and you are welcome to.

What we promise

That the site does what these pages say it does: it joins pictures in your browser and sends none of them anywhere. That is the promise, and it is the only one we can keep unconditionally.

What we do not promise

That it will be available at any particular moment, that it will work on every browser and every device, or that every join will succeed. Browsers differ in how large a picture they will draw, how much memory they will hand a tab, and which formats they can write. Where we know about a limit we say so plainly on the page rather than letting you discover it in the file. The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, so far as the law where you are allows that.

Keep your originals

Nothing here is stored, backed up or recoverable. If the tab is closed, refreshed or reloaded, whatever was in the tray is gone and there is no way for us to retrieve it — we never had it. Keep the pictures you started with until you are satisfied with the join, and check the saved file before you delete anything.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using this site — including lost work, lost time, or a result that was not what you expected. If some liability cannot be excluded where you live, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is nothing.

Advertising and links

No third-party advertising is being served on this site at the moment; the account is still awaiting review. Once the domain is approved, Google’s units will appear below the reading material on these pages, and this clause is written to cover them from the day they do. A small number of links also point at other sites. We do not control what sits at the other end of either an ad or a link, and we are not responsible for it.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the version on this page is the one that applies. Anything you disagree with is settled the same way it always is — by not using the site. Questions go to hello@mergepicture.com. Last updated 10 September 2026.
